My name is Abbey Hamilton. I have many passions for many different activities, now I have a passion for photography. I have always had an interest for taking pictures but since I've been in this class, it has really shown me that I love this artistry. The camera that I use to take all of my beautiful photos is the DSLR Canon Rebel T5i. Using this camera has taught me to use different techniques that have enhanced my photos greatly. These techniques include; zoomed in photos, controlling the background, and how to use the ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. Most of the photos that I've taken and enjoy taking is nature photography. I focus on this genre of photography because the photos are always filled with so much colour, texture, and natural light. I love using natural light because it gives any object a soft shadow, and a warm tone. Some examples of the photos I take are; flowers, trees, scenery, sunsets, etc. Even though, I mainly focus on taking nature photos, I have taken many portrait photos. My goal for the future is to explore more into portraiture, try new techniques, different lighting, and overall a new look. I also want to experiment with using a tripod to create higher quality photos. ​
